Wisdom comes in 2 ways: it is God-given gift and also a result of an energetic search.
Proverbs 2:16-17
Two of the most difficult sins to resist are pride and sexual immorality. Pride says,” I deserve it” and sexual desire says,” I need it”. Pride appeals to the empty head and sexual desire appeals to the empty heart. However, Solomon says only by relying on God’s strength can we overcome them. Looking to God can fill our heads with wisdom and our hearts with His love.

- the whole night was so awesome. It is indeed a whole different experience to countdown to end of 2012 and start a fresh 2013 with my spiritual family. Am totally excited for 2013 for all things that He is going to do in my life. LEFT THE BOAT and stepping onto the water!
Reflections:
- looking back, I’m so glad to have known certain people at certain times of my life. Can’t be more thankful for a few awesome leaders who are really really warm in taking care of their sheep, letting me know how I should grow. Ultimately really thankful to God to place these people to speak into my life. And am really excited to grow deeper with my most important relationship that is with God.
-I’m super convinced that I really need so much more of His wisdom. Knowledge is having the facts but wisdom is applying those facts to life. So without wisdom, knowledge is useless. However, I also have the assurance that as long as I continue to seek Him for wisdom, He will grant me wisdom. James1:5
